Updated: 2018-09-07

Beijing Hopefound Group and Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, central China's Hubei province, signed a cooperation agreement on Sept 4, to set up an entrepreneurship institute in the zone.

It is the first entrepreneurship institute in Wuhan to be jointly established by government and the firm.

Located in the WHDZ's Business Park, the new institute offers services for entrepreneurs in the zone, including training, competitions, project incubation, and financial services.

With investment of 60 million yuan ($8.78 million), the institute plans to set up 10 such institutes within three years across the province.

It is expected that in the next five years, the new institute will incubate 30 to 50 companies annually, and achieve annual revenues of more than 100 million yuan.

Beijing Hopefound Group is a leading player in the country’s entrepreneurship and employment training field, focusing on providing services for those starting businesses, especially university graduates.

The company has established 75 entrepreneurship institutes around the country, training more than 2 million people.

WHDZ is currently building an innovation and entrepreneurship hub in the city, to promote the zone's industrial upgrading and development through introducing innovative and entrepreneurial professionals and projects, and the establishment of the new institute is expected to add to the zone’s efforts.
