21st FINA Diving World Cup opens at WHDZ, Wuhan

The 21st FINA Diving World Cup 2018 opened at Wuhan Sports Center in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), central China’s Hubei province, on June 4.

During the competitions held on the first day, China’s divers won two gold medals.

Lian Junjie and Si Yajie topped the 10-meter Mixsynchro Finals, and Qiu Bo and Chen Yiwen won the Team Event Finals.

Competitions will last until June 10, with participation by around 200 competitors from 26 countries and regions.

In addition, Olympic diving champions such as Gao Min, Xiong Ni and Guo Jingjing will carry out a series of public welfare activities in Wuhan.
